To use Scholar Help,
1. Select the desired item or tool in the Table of Contents listed on the left side, or
2. Type in the search term or question in the search box at the top of the window and select Search.
3. The search results will display in the right hand pane.
To access the FAQs in Scholar Help,
1. Select FAQs in the Table of Contents listing on the left.
2. Click FAQs-Overview.
3. A list of FAQs should now appear in the right hand pane.

The Instructor's Checklist will walk you through creating a course from scratch or pulling resources from a previous semester into the new course. The checklist will also ensure that the course site has everything needed for your students to view and participate in the course.

Scholar Courses:

Go to the Faculty Development Institute.
On the middle left under Course Info/Registration, click the link for the current term.
On the next page, the classes are organized by topic. Click Scholar.
Click Enroll to the right of the class(es) that interest you.

Personal Assistance- Summer 2013

Go to Scholar One-on-One Consultation.
Click Enroll.
NOTE: You will be personally contacted by the instructor to set up an exact time for the consultation.

Self Paced Online Course:

There is also a Teach Yourself Scholar site that anyone can join from your Scholar account. Instructions to join:

From the menu bar in My Workspace, click Membership.
Click Joinable Sites to see a list of all the available sites you have not joined.
In the Search box, type Teach Yourself Scholar and click Search.
Click Join when you find the site.
